POLLYANNA, this week’s “Masterpiece Theatre” production, showed Pollyanna reading Pride and Prejudice to her aunt. :-)

    Another JA connection: I only saw a tiny bit of Pollyanna last night, but I also noticed David Bamber (Mr. Collins) playing what appeared to be another smarmy clergyman?
