Darcy in his drawers
April 19, 2006
We’re tired of ranting about the danged movie and want to make a happy post, so here’s something we’ve been saving for the right moment: UnDress Darcy and Lizzy. Hours of good clean fun!
And we didn’t draw them, so don’t complain that they don’t look like “your” Darcy and Lizzy.
Thanks to Alert Janeite Carol, who sent this in to us ages ago!

Methinks someone there has been watching the P&P 1996 miniseries a bit too often, ha,ha.
“Good, clean fun!”
This is very nice. But what are the chairs for? I can’t get D or L to sit down or anything. Also, I’m not sure if this is work safe…. Lizzy’s slip is a bit transparent… !
Darling, where *I* work, playing with online paper dolls is NWS by default!
Yeah, well, you should work in the ivory tower like me. Pretty much everything you do can be justified as being grist to the academic mill. You never know when a student might need help with online paper dolls.

Kathleen, there is no such thing as too often!
Maybe I’m spending too much time on this, but… I notice you can dress Darcy in Lizzy’s clothes (they don’t exactly fit, but close.) But you can’t get Darcy’s togs onto Lizzy. Why would that be?? (I thought she would look nice in the boots & gaiters.)

Definitely not work safe.

Yes, dear, I think you are! When do we get a travelog on your recent journey to JA-land?
cool! this is WAY better than trying to make my Yahoo avatar look vaguely Jane-like. Why aren’t there empire-waist dresses and bonnets amongst the booty shorts and track suits???
Hmm, mine aren’t wearing much. Must be on their honeymoon…
Hi Deb. Now that I’m back at work, time to start playing with my dolls again. They are hiding behind the clothes-rack so you totally can’t see them; playing sardines I suppose. My trip to England involved some extreme hiking (in good weather) and some extreme pub-crawling (in the rain) but no JA related program activities. Only one cream-tea but it was a good one.
LOLOL! I love it!!
