MISS AUSTEN REGRETS to be Austen biofilm?

We posted yesterday about MISS AUSTEN REGRETS, a drama serial which is currently casting. Geetika asked one of her cast members about it, who passed on that it is to be produced by BBC Drama (huzzah!) and is described in the casting call as “Drama looking at the life of Jane Austen and why she never married.”
One hopes it is not another Made Up Story! But it is still exciting news.

Celebrities nowadays complain that the media won’t leave their love lives alone but it seems the ‘media’ doesn’t care if they’re dead or alive. Everything lately focuses on Jane Austen’s love life!
Yay about it being done by BBC!! Kind of seems like one of the film industry’s twosies: this one and Becoming Jane coming around the same time. Oh well, I don’t mind. D’ruther have the BBC version any day.
