"Searching for Mr. Darcy" Video from BBC's The One Show

Paul from KeiraWeb.com was kind enough to record the segment about Jane Austen and Tom Lefroy that aired last night on BBC’s The One Show and has made it available for download; it is a Windows Media file and is 9.46 mg, so better for the broadband crowd.
It’s quite nice, we get to see two lovely houses that Jane would have known (The Vyne and Ashe House) and there’s nothing in it to outrage a Janeite’s reason; unusual these days!

What a lovely segment on Jane!
Funny how they showed the wet shirt scene from P&P2, as if we Janeites cared about a handsome hunk with his shirt plastered against his strong shapely body, and his dark curly hair falling over his forehead and that cute quizzical/surprised look on his face! Where was I? Oh yes, as if we cared about that, it was the first scene from the movie they showed!
