Oh, Lord! What will become of me. I shall go distracted.

The wonders of youtube now bring us ITV1′s trailer for their “Jane Austen Season.”
Update: Now with Tony A’s much preferred non-squishy version!

I just read on a Rupert Penry-Jones fan site that Mansfield Park will be shown on March 11th at 9:00 pm. I guess the others will be shown on the following Sunday nights.
Goody! Despite my picky misgivings (glares suspiciously at the veneer of Mary Crawford’s harp soundboard) I am really looking forward to these three adaptations (much more than ‘Pass Me A Spork Eloping Jane’ I’m afraid). It would be nice to watch a version of Mansfield Park without ramming a fork in my eyes (yes, last movie version, I’m looking at you) and am really hoping for the best for ‘Northanger Abbey’ (prays that they will leave Henry nice and snarky).
Yuck! This is still the squeezed version. I don’t know how you can stand to watch this distorted image. The “fixed” version is still available for download from my server (~14 MB Quicktime movie), for those interested. It looks way much better.
I really should turn on my streaming server to enable viewing videos without the need to download. But that means I have to read the manual. If only I had the time…
Ugh! Sorry, Mags. Your page doesn’t seem to like the “a href=” code. Here is the link, in full view:

According to radiotimes.com, ‘Taggart’ is on at 9 pm Sunday 11th March.
Thank you Tony. I saw it on my desktop. You are a real techno whiz.
Tony, just use regular HTML (pointy brackets) rather than BB Code (square brackets). I fixed the link. Thanks as always for your contribution!
Here’s the official ITV website of the Jane Austen Season.

I love the music used in this advert! Does anybody know its title and its composer?
Has anyone seen the Jane Austen Season trailer on the ITV media website (not the Winter preview)? http://www.itvmedia.co.uk It seems to be shorter but has a couple different clips. One shot seems to show Maria and Henry Crawford parting from a kiss and another shot shows Fanny running down the stairs (but from a different angle from the shot shown in this trailer). Or am I just imagining things?
It’s essentially the same trailer in this blog post but slightly shortened and rearranged. The different angle on Fanny is the only change.
