Alert Janeite Lisa sent along a bit of video from the Jane Austen Ball held in Rochester, New York back in March. What a charming amusement for young people!

Ahhh!! Wouldn’t you just know it–this is just about the only dance I sat out. But I still appear in the video, crossing along the back wall in a blue dress and taking lots of pictures. What a shame you were not all so fortunate as to see how much I excel at the dance.
