Innocent Diversions coming to Theater Ten Ten in NYC

Alert Janeite Jen K. wrote to remind us of something Cub Reporter Heather L. mentioned last week: Theater Ten Ten in New York City, which staged Lynn Marie Macy’s magnificent adaptation of Northanger Abbey last year, will be staging Ms. Macy’s play Innocent Diversions, November 16 through December 16, 2007.
It is December, 1803. Join Miss Jane Austen and her family & friends, who have arrived at Manydown Park, the Hampshire estate of the Bigg-Wither family, for a Christmas celebration. At the persistent urging of her hosts, Jane has consented to be Mistress of Ceremonies and preside over their Holiday theatricals, which are to highlight her own outrageously funny early writings.
