Not only was she heartily amused but she offered this witticism from Northanger Abbey:

But when a young quarterback is to be a hero, the perverseness of four surrounding defensive linemen cannot prevent him. Something must and will happen to throw a touchdown in the endzone…unless he’s Tom Brady.

Not the best line she’s ever come up with, but it got a laugh from me.
