In honor of Jane Austen’s birthday, and despite our obsession with electronic media, we are going old school for today’s giveaway. A lucky Janeite will win merchandise from the Editrix’s JASNA Region, Eastern Pennsylvania. The prize pack includes a package of Christmas cards featuring a classic image of Jane Austen clutching a sprig of holly, with a holiday greeting printed inside. There also is a package of notecards featuring the illustration of Jane Austen’s lace pattern that she drew in a letter to her sister Cassandra as well as a quotation from that letter.
