Alert Janeite Carmen sent us a link to a post on Hugo Petrus’ blog (the illustrator of the upcoming Marvel comic book edition of P&P). It’s in Spanish, except the header (ungentlemanlike language warning!) but scroll down to the second image–it’s a bit of detail from an illustration from the comic. We’re guessing it’s Miss Elizabeth Bennet’s fine eyes. The gist of what he is saying is that it will be out in April and he can’t talk about it too much, but wanted to give us a little peek.

I dunno. Looks like Brenda Starr to me. This better come across as very campy, otherwise I fear to think of the impression on a whole new category of young Janeites.
Hmmm…looks like Lizzy plucks her eyebrows.
