We hope to see some of the Gentle Readers of AustenBlog at the Jane Austen Festival in Louisville next month!

    Darling invitation! A plus for creativity!

    Just finished Mag’s book- wish I would have read it years ago! It explains so much of the culture and traditions of Austen’s world. Definitely a “must read” for new or young Janeites!

    I completely agree with Baja Janeite, only I DID read it years ago, when it first came out (or how ever long ago it was — 18 months?). It is fascinating, and helped me understand a lot, thanks Mags. On top of everything else, it is quite beautiful!

    I’m so excited about the festival. To receive such a clever invitation increases the desire for July 17 to arrive quickly. All of us coming from Colonial Williamsburg, VA are exceedingly fond of dancing, taking tea and shopping. It will be our great pleasure to mingle in such exhaulted society.
