Regency World Awards Announced

The 2009 Regency World Awards were announced last weekend. We don’t think anyone will be surprised at who won the favorite Mr. Darcy award. We’re just still surprised that Wishbone wasn’t included. ;-)

    I, too, am shocked by the omission of Wishbone! He should have been the runner up, after Firth.

    I see that Lori Smith won-does anyone know how she is? (She has been battling with lyme’s disease and has not appeared on austenblog or her own blog site in a long time.)

    I must admit that, although I knew he wouldn’t win, I was rooting for Laurence Olivier as best Darcy. I thought the role was perfect for him.
