Monday Ebooks: Swag Edition

Google is giving away Sony Readers over ten days in the Google Books Game. Three readers a day, looks like–good luck to those who play!
Reading devices with smaller screens, making the devices more portable, are popular right now, with several devices on the verge of introduction. We’ll have more about these new devices as they are released.
We also are pleased to note that Girlebooks, which provides free, beautifully-formatted ebooks of many classic novels, is branching out into original publications with Radium Halos by Shelley Stout. We hear there are some Austen-related publications coming up as well; stay tuned!

The Iphone app store offers a free, complete set of Austen novels.
The Iphone makes a surprisingly nice reading device. It’s easy to bookmark…scribble a note to yourself in the margins…even search for words and phrases in the text.
Great way to get your Austen fix while waiting in line, in traffic, in wherever.
