I am also a long-time Jane Austen fan so I thought this book would be so fun, but I was wrong.

It just doesn’t have the same feel as P&P and maybe that was the intention, but I think it could have been so much better.

I think there could have been such creative license taken and a little bending of the vampire-rules to make it seem more true to the novel.

I still recommend it anyway!

There are millions of Elizabeths and quite a number of Darcys, I am sure.

The historian in me finds it hard to suspend disbelief sometimes, even in Austen vampire fiction! Everything else about the excerpt sounds rad.
