I have almost no time for non-school reading but GC are always first on my list when I do. I’m addicted. Right now I’m waiting for their new volume of Louisa May Alcott to be delivered and I just finished their Oscar Wilde volume.

The story is artfully compressed, retaining most of JA’s dialogue. The illustrations are magical! Catherine has adorable, enormous manga-eyes, which really reflects her ingenuity well. This is a really fine intersection of words and art. Even if you are the kind of Janeite who says haughtily, “I only read the original,” you would like and appreciate the NA manga.
