    Anybody know if the issue is available in the U.S. on newsstands? I can’t get a subscription, but this issue sounds great so I’d splurge.

      I don’t think it is, though you can buy individual back issues. Let me write to them and find out.

    Sadly, we don’t sell the magazine through newstands. Janeaustenbooks.net sell individual issues, as do the Jane Austen Centre in Bath. A full year’s subscription, including postage, is available via our website http://www.janeaustenmagazine.co.uk
