Carol Chernega, a gardener and JASNA member, will lead an English literary garden tour, featuring gardens related to several authors, including Jane Austen, this spring. The itinerary includes a tour of the garden at Chawton Cottage, led by Carol and the head gardener of Chawton Cottage, and a tour of the Chawton Library gardens as well. There also is a tour of Jane Austen’s Winchester, and lots of other gardens associated with other British authors (including F.O.J. Rudyard Kipling), many of which are not normally open to the public.
