Congratulations to Rob Hardy, whose wonderful poem “Jane Austen’s Toes,” originally published in The Apple Valley Review, has been chosen by poet Dorianne Laux for inclusion in the Best of the Net 2008 anthology.

Also, on Thursday, April 16 at 7 p.m., at the Northfield Public Library in Northfield, Minnesota, Rob will be giving an illustrated talk about his travels to Jane Austen sites in England (Bath, Chawton, Winchester, Stoneleigh Abbey, and Adlestrop).
