Is NOTHING sacred??? First they savage Jane Austen, then the poor, innocent PEEPS?
One of the finalist for the Washington Post’s Peeps dioramas contest was inspired by P&P&Z. Let the gallery load and then click on No. 18 to see it.
Thanks to Alert Janeites Kathryn, Mary and Julie for sending this in!
To borrow a phrase from Heather and Jessica, this is actually Secretly Awesome. I am a longtime fan of amusing oneself with the nasty little stale marshmallow creatures. Lord of the Peeps (http://www.lordofthepeeps.com/lotp/fotp.html) and Peeps Research (http://www.peepresearch.org/) are particular favorites. Myself, I like to microwave the little beggars. 😀
Y’all do know that they’re a toy and not a food, yeah?

Of course. I was kidding around. 😉

I liked the P&P&Z one, but my favorite is number 2, the art class, with the Peeps studies on the walls, the nude model Peep (covered in gesso), and, best of all, the Peep skeleton, for the reference of the artists…..hee!
